LOFT

Loft is DailyObjects' desktop charging station, combining two sockets and two USB-C ports in a single monolithic unit available in four colours. The central creative challenge was repositioning a utility product as something considered enough to belong on a desk or bedside table. Nerve created a teaser and a main film, both built around the product's capsule form as the primary visual device. The teaser works entirely through tight framing and colour, using the product's geometry to fill the frame with concentric surface detail and bold single-colour compositions, withholding context until the form itself has made an impression. The main film introduces the product by growing it out of that same capsule shape before opening into CMF detail, wire compositions used as graphic elements, and lifestyle environments that show the product in use. Across both films, the approach treats a functional object as a design object first.
